About the TKT Life Coaching Class:

The next class begins in September of 2020. Students complete approximately 110 hours of classroom instruction in basic to advanced coaching skills in an interactive setting, along with a supervised practicum and internship option. The practicum is comprised of 30+ hours of supervised practice coaching and role-playing with other students.

Tuition for TKT Coaching Certificate Program is $3590, which includes the year of life coaching coursework and the price for the mandatory attendance of Growth Challenge Weekend Phase 1. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $50 due at interview which will be applied to tuition if you are accepted into the TKT Life Coaching Program. A $125.00 one-time materials fee upon admission to hold your spot for the course. The tuition of $3590 can be paid monthly ($299.17) during the program and must be paid in full to successfully complete the program.

Upon completion of the coursework, all assignments, 30+ student coaching sessions, participation in Growth Challenge Phase 1 and tuition paid in full, students will receive TKT Course Completion Certificate with the option to move into one of the two internship paths.

About the TKT Life Coaching Internship:

Upon completion of the year’s coursework, students have the option to enter into an internship with The Kitchen Table.

The internship has two options:

1) Ministry internship for individuals looking to improve skills for lay ministry, personal growth, or current career path. This internship option requires 50 hours of supervised coaching to receive a TKT Ministry Certification.

2) Professional Life Coach internship for individuals looking to pursue life coaching as a part-time or full-time career or to enhance their interpersonal skills. This internship option requires 100 hours of supervised professional coaching. The Professional tract requires individuals to procure professional liability insurance during the internship period and charge a fee for coaching sessions.

All interns are required to attend weekly staffing meetings during the duration of the internship. The cost for staffing is $200 monthly until internship hours are complete.  Fees for staffing provide:

• Weekly staffing support
• 24/7 access to Marc/Melissa D’Aunoy for support and supervision during internship period
• Consultation on coaching cases
• New tools for the Coach
• In-house educational programs shared during staffing hours
• TKT Coach Staff to review and provide written feedback of 5 recorded coach sessions and written feedback for 2 live coach demos.

**Note: Following the completion of the internship hours, all students will be required to turn in 5-recorded sessions and successfully demonstrate coaching skills in two live coaching sessions before certification is earned. Upon completion of course requirements and internship requirements, students in the Ministry internship will receive TKT Ministry Life Coaching Certification and students in the Professional internship will receive TKT Professional Life Coaching Certification.

Graduates who successfully complete TKT Professional Life Coaching Certification tract may be considered for contract positions at The Kitchen Table or  can continue to pursue their profession independently and be affiliated with TKT for continued staffing support and educational opportunities for a monthly fee of $100. All graduates will be required to take 20 hours of continued education per year through The Kitchen Table or outside approved sources in order to maintain their designation as a Certified Professional Kitchen Table Life Coach.

**Note: Students wanting to earn other professional designations such as those offered by the International Coaches Federation may submit TKT Life Coaching Program materials through ICF’s portfolio approach and submit their credentials from The Kitchen Table for consideration.  Visit the International Coach Federationfrom more information. TKT will provide a comprehensive curriculum portfolio with all needed documentation for submission for a fee of $500.
