Iva Lee Clement has over 20 years of experience in corporate business, serving in various formal and informal leadership roles. She has directed leadership teams in strategic and business planning efforts, and she has worked at both the state and federal level educating legislators on health care issues and the impact legislation has on patient care.
Her varied experiences have allowed her to identify many good leaders who inspired leadership in others. She embraces her role as a leader and accepts the challenges and joys that leadership brings. She recognizes that lessons learned from mistakes often are more valuable than success and allow for greater growth.
In 2013, Iva realized colleagues, peers and acquaintances were reaching out to her on various issues and challenges they were encountering in their work life. These interactions were very rewarding for Iva, as she saw people growing into the people they were meant to be.
She embraced the role as coach and in 2018, Iva enrolled in The Kitchen Table Coaching Certification program. She wanted to broaden her skills as a coach and learn about various tools available to assist her for the benefit of others. She believes that no matter your position in life, someone somewhere is looking to you as a leader. Iva is ready to help you own and hone your leadership skills and assist you in finding the career that brings you fulfillment.
Iva loves traveling, attending concerts and finding new experiences that inspire her own growth. She continues to challenge herself by exploring her creative side, dabbling in many art activities, pottery, watercolor and stain glass to name a few. With the blessings she has received, she remains committed to giving back to her community through volunteer efforts for various non-profit organizations. She has instilled this same sense of stewardship in her son and will do so with her two grandchildren and the little one on the way.
